The media is changing.

Online news, social media and handheld devices are all impacting on the way news is consumed and made. But are those changes for the better, worse or just different? And what do they mean for campaigns?

Join us for a conversation moderated by campaign communications expert Erin Farley. We’ll hear from two sides of the revolution with Herald Sun journalist Stephen Drill and EMC media relations and online campaigns specialist Adrian Dodd in a Q and A session.

A must-attend event for any campaigner grappling with reaching new and bigger audiences or interested in hearing direct from a journalist about what makes news today.

Location:  The Wheeler Centre, 176 Little Lonsdale St, Melbourne
Time:  6pm til 8pm.
Date:  Thursday 9 August
Further info:  Holly Hammond – call 0421 508 446 or via the Contact page.

This is a Melbourne Campaigner’s Network event. MCN holds regular gatherings for campaigners, activists, and organisers to discuss ideas, exchange resources and discover new approaches to social change.
