Campaigning takes resources!

How can campaigns build a sustainable financial base? And how does fundraising integrate with other aspects of campaigning and building an active supporter base?

Join us for a very practical session – which will also engage your creativity and broaden your view of fundraising.

Includes:

  • Sarah Johnson, an experienced fundraiser and campaigner currently working with ACF
  • Rick Chen, cofounder of Pozible.com, giving us the low-down on crowd-funding
  • An update on charitable status and campaigning, and the implications for philanthropic funding

Like all MCN sessions we’re aiming for a good mix of social movement representation and folks involved in different aspects of campaigns and activism. Do you know someone who works in fundraising, or has come up with creative ways to make a project viable? Please invite them, or pass their details along.
