How does change come about? How can diverse social movement actors work together to move things forward?

This Melbourne Campaigners’ Network session will be a reportback from Ecology of Social Movements, a 2 week course at the Ulex Centre attended by Holly Hammond in Catalunya this June.

The course was a deep dive into theories of social change, activist identity, complexity and models of collaboration. Participants came from a range of movements across Europe and beyond.

Holly is currently working with the trainers to develop new planning tools for strategic campaigning with multiple social movement stakeholders.

This is a Melbourne Campaigner’s Network event. MCN holds gatherings for campaigners, activists, and organisers to discuss ideas, exchange resources and discover new approaches to social change. Becky Bond is available to present at this event thanks to the generous support of Australian Progress and GetUp.
