How does change come about? How can diverse social movement actors work together to move things forward?
This Melbourne Campaigners’ Network session will be a reportback from Ecology of Social Movements, a 2 week course at the Ulex Centre attended by Holly Hammond in Catalunya this June.
The course was a deep dive into theories of social change, activist identity, complexity and models of collaboration. Participants came from a range of movements across Europe and beyond.
Holly is currently working with the trainers to develop new planning tools for strategic campaigning with multiple social movement stakeholders.
This is a Melbourne Campaigner’s Network event. MCN holds gatherings for campaigners, activists, and organisers to discuss ideas, exchange resources and discover new approaches to social change.
